GRUR workshop “The Future of IP in the EU”

The German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) organized a very interesting workshop in Brussels on 5 December 2019 at the Representation of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia to the EU in Brussels.

The workshop covered the entire field of intellectual property (patents, trademarks, designs, copyright and enforcement), focussing on the future challenges for IP and possible solutions.

Renowned lawyers, University professors, representatives of DG GROW and DG CONNECT discussed with attendees on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and the Digital Single Market Directive, 3D printing, the Internet of Things, the flexibilization of patent law injunctions and the EU copyright system.

Jordi Güell attended this workshop. The program can be downloaded here http://www.grur.org/uploads/tx_meeting/GmB2019_Programme_final.pdf
